August 11, 2010- Greetings in the name of Jesus. What a beautiful summer we are having, vacations are wrapping up, kids are going back to school shorthly. It is an exciting time for myself. I am leaving in alittle over a week to go on a Mission trip to Mexico. Mark Dover is excited to have us come and share the good news. But as I sit here and pray for direction and as I prepare my heart for what I am about to experience. Even though I may see the poorest of poor. There is Hope. If they/we have Jesus which is our hope of Glory, then they/we are rich. It doesn't matter where you live, as long as you have Jesus, you are rich. Being rich in God means loving and enjoying the people around us. To love one another as God loves us, willingly, not because you have to. The greatest assett I have is Jesus and therefore I am going to make some people very rich. Praise the Lord!!!

January 4, 2010- Happy New Years everyone, what a year, what a decade. Its been an exciting year and I know that 2010 will be even more exciting and prosperous. As we enter into 2010 God has given me a word and that is Reconciliation. To reconcile is to restore a broken relationship, friendship or fellowship. When Adam sinned in the garden, Adam broke the relationship he had with God. God was looking for Adam, "Adam where are you? why are you hiding from me?" they always had their walks in the cool of the evening. Who stopped that? Adam!! the bible never talks about a need for God needing to be reconciled back to man. But it does speak of men needing to be reconciled back to God.
Colossians 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell,20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled
As most of you reading this, you have been reconciled back to God through the saving grace of Jesus Christ. The reconciliation I am talking about is found in
Matthew 5:24 "leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
This has to be a year of reconciliation with our brother/sister/family/friends/co-worker. For many of us we have been bringing the gift, but we have yet to go and be reconciled to ____ you fill in the gap. The gap is the problem, we have a broken relationship and that broken gap is not only between us and that individual, but also between us and God! I believe we have things out of order. We bring the gift to the altar and if God tells me then I will go make things right. The correct order is reconciliation first and then the gift. 2010, ten is the number of Divine Order. God is a God of order and perfection. How do we save a world with disorder? We can't, God's order must be established. Reconciliation first to God then to man and peace that passes all understanding. Jesus is the fullness of the Father, perfection, divine order.
In the book of John, Jesus demonstrated this divine perfection by two words "I am" , there are Ten I am statements Jesus made...
1) I am the Bread of Life (6:35);
2) I am the Bread of Life which came down from heaven (6:41);
3) I am the Living Bread (6:51);
4) I am the Light of the world (8:12);
5) I am One that bears witness of Myself (8:18);
6) I am the Door of the sheep (10:7,9);
7) I am the Good Shepherd (10:14);
8) I am the Resurrection and the Life (11:25);
9) I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life (14:6);
10) I am the True Vine (15:1,5).
If Jesus is all ten of these statements in your life, Reconciliation should be easy to obtain this year. May you have a Blessed and Prosperous Year!!

Well here we are the week before Father's day, its hard to believe its the middle of June already. God has placed in my heart to encourage you. I don't know where you are right now with your relationship Christ. It doesn't matter if you have been saved for 1 day or 100years, we all go through stuff. When we look at the world around us, we see giants falling all around us. The latest, the automobile industry, GM and Chrysler filling for bankruptcy and worse Chrysler being sold. In the middle of this recession, the Lord keeps bringing me back to the scripture in
Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God? God has shown each one us what is good, sometimes we forget.
Let me take you back to the beginning, in Genesis, God at the end of the Third day of Creation and when He looked around at what he had just created, He saw that it was good. God knowing he hadn't completed creating everything that we see today, He still looked at it as good. After making day and night on the fourth day, he saw it was good. So I ask you, o man what is good? Whatever God is working on in your life, as long as you are pliable, when you lay your head on your pillow at the end of the day, God says it is good. It is that place God has us at right now. Whatever God is creating in us today, that place where he is showing us the difference between light and darkness, life and death. That place where you need to scatter your seed, so that you can be fruitful and multiply. That place where He is creating in us more of His image. You know what God is doing in your life and He has revealed to what is good.
However there is a requirement from us, that is to do justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly. To do justly, to do what is right to EVERYONE and to do NO wrong to anybody. Whether you are alone, at the store, at your job, with your family, friends, your business,etc..
To love mercy, this is a powerful statement, it doesn't say to show mercy, but to
love mercy. Love and mercy are two extremes that we all deal with and now we have to put them together. I have to love mercy, we must delight in mercy as God delights in mercy. When we are given the opportunity to give mercy, we are to love giving it, giving it with a cheerful heart. God has shown us what is good and that is, he loves mercy because he loves us. Mercy is God saying, I'm going to give you another chance. Thank God for 2nd, 3rd, 4th...chances.
To walk humbly with your God, all pride is gone, all confidence in our flesh is gone. When we bring ourselves down to nothing, that is the beginning of true worship, because it glorifies God and not ourselves.
Notice where to love mercy is located in this scripture, in the middle, between to do justly and to walk humbly. Mercy has to be the center of everything we do. As I reflect back to that hill at Calvary. At the center of the two thieves was the love of Mercy, Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son. I believe God said on the third day when Jesus rose from the dead, God said, now I have shown you O Man what is Good!
God Bless!!

Happy Good Friday!! I know it has been since before Christmas when I have posted here, but I needed to hear from God of what to post. He wanted me to post about the signs of his Goodness. Since the beginning of this year we have seen God move according to our Faith. The news people have said we are in a recession, our congregation says they are blessed and they have received raises. The unemployment rate is at 8.7%, our unemployment rate in the church is 0%. Doctors have told our people they have sicknesses and diseases, we have seen people healed. We have seen a person with chest pains (the early signs of a heart attack) get total healing in the middle of one of our services. I have been crying out to God to bring those in the need of a miracle and God has delivered. God has been so good to show us his mercy and grace. We have been praying for people with Autism, diabetes, add and cancer just to name a few. It would be easy to just say God have your way and help those who taking care of these people, but thats a cop out. Either we have faith to believe, that each stripe Jesus took was for complete healing or it wasn't. The healing is there if we have the faith to receive it. God's goodness will never disappoint you. On this Good Friday let's remember what all Jesus went to the cross for, you and me.
Happy Easter and Happy Resurrection Day!! 4-10-2009 Pastor John
I want to wish all a Very Merry Christmas. This has been a very exciting year for myself and Bread of Life Tabernacle. God has been so good to us, words can't explain what he has been doing, but all the Glory goes to him. Recently I preached a sermon on the indescribable gift of God.
2cor9:15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!
We all understand that Gift is Jesus Christ. But if we would look at the indescribable gifts that God gives us everyday, we can come into a closer more intimate relationship with the Giver of those gifts.
I recently watched A Christmas Carol, I hadn't watched this movie for probably close to 10 years. I had a moment where I thought to myself, am I really doing all that I need to be doing for God or am I being like Mr. Scrooge holding back all for myself. The gifts God gives us were never meant for us to keep all for ourselves. Where would we be if it weren't for those gifted with Prophecy, Healing, the Word of Wisdom, the Word of Knowledge, Faith and Miracles. These are indescribable gifts, these gifts need to be activated today. If we are holding back these gifts, it could cost someone their life. As Tiny Tim needed to have surgery to correct his health, if he didn't have the surgery he would surely die. Tiny Tim's father Bob Cratchit could barely feed his family let alone pay for a surgery. Tiny Tim had faith believing God would Bless us all. God did bless us all even Mr. Scrooge whom God used to help all those in need that Christmas morning.
Let us open our hearts this Christmas as remember the Indescribable gift that God has given all men. Let us give the gift to a needy world.
Merry Christmas and God Bless us all.

Recently God revealed to me people who are at an intersection in their lives. Some are setting back watching and waiting for God to move and some are waiting to see if God will ever move again. Setting back waiting can be good thing. I believe there can be a season when we set back, a preparation period, where God is preparing us for our next step in Him. This season in our lives can feel like a wilderness or a desert. You feel alone, nobody understands what your going through, your looking for the oasis. You wonder how did I get here? How do get out of here? Will anybody find me? I want to encourage you this is a great place to be, God deals with our hearts and minds when we feel completely isolated from all other influences.
Isaiah 35:1-10 says 1 ¶ Wilderness and desert will sing joyously, the badlands will celebrate and flower—Like the crocus in spring,2 bursting into blossom, a symphony of song and color. Mountain glories of Lebanon—a gift. Awesome Carmel, stunning Sharon—gifts. GOD’s resplendent glory, fully on display. GOD awesome, GOD majestic.3 Energize the limp hands, strengthen the rubbery knees.4 Tell fearful souls, "Courage! Take heart! GOD is here, right here, on his way to put things right And redress all wrongs. He’s on his way! He’ll save you!"
5 ¶ Blind eyes will be opened, deaf ears unstopped,6 Lame men and women will leap like deer, the voiceless break into song. Springs of water will burst out in the wilderness, streams flow in the desert.7 Hot sands will become a cool oasis, thirsty ground a splashing fountain. Even lowly jackals will have water to drink, and barren grasslands flourish richly.8 There will be a highway called the Holy Road. No one rude or rebellious is permitted on this road. It’s for GOD’s people exclusively—impossible to get lost on this road. Not even fools can get lost on it.9 No lions on this road, no dangerous wild animals—Nothing and no one dangerous or threatening. Only the redeemed will walk on it.10 The people GOD has ransomed will come back on this road. They’ll sing as they make their way home to Zion, unfading halos of joy encircling their heads, Welcomed home with gifts of joy and gladness as all sorrows and sighs scurry into the night. The Message.
Let God strengthen you, let God restore you, let God bring you to the Holy Road where no one can touch you, nothing will harm you. This is the place of joy, gladness and expectation. Your joy will strengthen you and your faith will increase with high expectations of God. Be Encouraged In Christ, Pastor John... September 16, 2008
The last few weeks I have sat back and observed church after church close their doors. I asked God, what is going on? Why aren't the churches thriving? Then God showed me, as I read the local newspaper I see what has happened. The Churches have become another fundraiser activity with spaghetti dinners and bingo nights. They are trying to raise money to do the work of the Lord. Everything that I wanted to do for God, most importantly what God wanted me to do for him, he made the provision available to me. I believe that if God doesn't provide for it, then we shouldn't do it.
Its time the church stops looking to man for provision and start looking to God. Its time for the people of the church to take its rightful place.
Rev. 5:10 Then you made them a Kingdom, Priests for our God, Priest-kings to rule over the earth.
We need to recognize who we are in God, either a King or Priest.
Jesus said in
Matthew 6:10 Thy Kingdom come, he didn't say..Thy church come, Yes I said it and wrote it. My faith doesn't lie and wait for a Mega church to come, my faith lie and waits for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. We need to take the authority the God has given us and advance the Kingdom of God in our church, community, county, state, country and world.
Kings have answers and Priests help guide them with Godly wisdom. We have the answers that those who are lost are seeking. Lets stop living as slaves to the economy, stockmarket and world. Christ came to set us free, free from the bondage of sin and satan. Christ has given us this great honor to be Kings and Priests over the economy, stockmarket and world. Lets advance the Kingdom of God together.
